DATE: March 26-27, 2010 LOCATION: Hutchinson, Kansas PURPOSE: Extreme brings Kansas NYI students together for an opportunity to share through competition their God-given musical, athletic, artistic and Bible quizzing talents. It’s also a way for district students to connect with each other through the event and be challenged to grow in their faith as they hear the Word proclaimed in the Friday evening worship service. STUDENT REGISTRATION: $25 for all participating students. Registration fees & forms need to be postmarked by March 1. From March 1 to March 15 the registration fee is $30. Forms should be completely filled out at the time of mailing in order to be accepted. Registrations may not be accepted after the March 15 deadline. Please, send 1 church check for your entire groups’ registration -- NO personal checks. Kansas Extreme participants (not spectators) should be attending a local Church of the Nazarene for at least 45 days prior to the event. Kansas Extreme participation is required in order for students to be eligible for selection for certain MidAmerica Extreme competitions. (A limited number of exemptions, due to extenuating circumstances, may be approved by the KNYI Executive Council prior to Kansas Extreme.) SPONSORS: Churches should provide 1 sponsor for every 6–8 students. There is no registration fee for sponsors, but sponsors should complete a registration form. TEAM REGISTRATION: A separate athletic team form should be filled out for each team. (Even if you have just a few players, but not enough to make a full team, please complete a team form. Your players will be placed on team.) |
